With the change in seasons and fashions, women change their wardrobe and their makeup. Don’t forget about your hair! Whether it was slicked back, silky smooth or wavy and fluffy, designers celebrated the texture of hair in all their shows this season.

1) Big hair. Mui Mui sent all the models down the runway with big hair, both in volume and height. When a fashion house headed by Miuccia Prada makes a fashion statement, we take notice.
2) Center parts were everywhere on the runway, whether paired with loose waves or sleek locks. These looks seem simple, but they need the right products and cut for your hair type to make them look polished and not messy.
3) In Contrast, Fendi and Delpozo chose sleek deep side parts with clips or bobby pins to hold the side back.
4) Marc Jacobs featured strong lines in short cuts with rainbow hues down the runway for a futuristic look.
5) Moschino gave a wink of appreciation to the ‘60’s with high-volume blowouts that sported perfected ends.
6) Slick it back. Whether into a ponytail, braids, or left to cascade, slick wet-look hair was a definite trend on the runway.
7) Accessories. Headbands were spied on the runway, from leather to the zig-zag of the ‘90s. So were bobby pins and more ornate hair slides to hold those side parts back. Single barrettes were stacked down ponytails, and the banana clip made an appearance with a new look of it’s own-this time in shiny chrome.
8) A messy topknot. Gone are the perfect top-knots twisted to a bun. Sprigs and strands stuck out and were tucked under to give a casual, sexy look.
9) Braids. From two small face framing braids at Tommy Hilfiger, to Alexander McQueen’s slicked back Rapunzel length braids, it’s clear braids take one of the top trends for the season.
10) Loose waves made an appearance in several shows, whether half-up or left to flow, giving a romantic and soft look.
